Bedfont Heritage Location Trail 1 - The Old Police Station

The first stop on the trail is the site of the Old Police Station in Bedfont. The photo below shows where this branch of the Metropolitan Police once stood on the space that is now occupied by a more recent block of flats. You can still see the three pairs of semi detached houses to the left of where the Police Station once stood. A real shame that this has been lost - it would have been a rich part of the areas history and one of the most imposing buildings in the area.
